PO-BOY FESTIVAL

The Oak Street Merchants, Residents and Property Owners held the 15th Annual Oak Street Po-Boy Festival, presented by Tony Chachere’s, on Sunday, November 19th, 2023 from 10A to 6P between the 8100-8700 blocks of Oak Street.

The festival hosted 40 food and beverage vendors, live music on multiple stages, Arts Market, Kids Zone, VIP Area, sponsor activations and a po-boy competition juried by celebrity judges. The 2023 festival’s announcements kick-off celebrated New Orleans’ premier food festival with board members from OSMRPO, festival organizers, neighboring, participating businesses, New Orleans Saints Super Fan and Face-Of-The-Fest, Leroy “Whistle Monsta” Mitchell, and representatives from the festival’s non-profit partner and beneficiary, Son of a Saint. The festival’s goal continues to be maintaining its status as one of the most unique and exciting events of the year. Each fall, since 2007, New Orleanians have set aside a day to honor the humble and historic Po-Boy sandwich where upwards of 50,000 strong come to eat, drink, dance and shop the historic and vibrant Oak Street.
